在聚合器里看到Zend Core for Oracle．PHP5 将集成到Application Server 10g 的Client 库中. 此前，在一篇 Blog 里面我写道：
2004年7月13日，PHP 官方站点正式发布了 PHP 5。Oracle 在 2004 年 8 月宣布将在拳头产品 Application Server 中提供对 PHP 的支持。先是在Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4) 提供 mod_php 模块，继而在Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) 中提供了 PHP 4.3的版本,接着Oracle JDeveloper 10g 也将提供对 PHP 扩展能力。相信，不久Oracle将正式支持 PHP 5。而随着 Oracle 技术社区的大力推广，也将有更多的开发人员利用 PHP 进行大型数据库应用程序的开发。

这篇新闻引用的很多数据显然是比较旧的,但是其中的观点还是很到位的:阿里巴巴肯定暂时不上市.当然,我个人认为暂时不上市不代表阿里巴巴不想上市.
阿里巴巴的财务顾问、香港商业银行Seraphin Capitall Limited 的John Chi表示，阿里巴巴准备保持独立性，先扩充自己的实力，然后再寻求去美国上市。

Blog 上看到的消息，Quest 刚刚收购了一家公司 Imceda.Imceda 公司一直致力于提供全方位的 SQL Server 平台的产品解决方案.
The acquisition is valued at approximately $61 million, of which 20% will be paid in shares of Quest Software Common Stock and the balance will be paid in cash. Quest currently expects that the transaction will be completed in the second quarter of 2005, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals including expiration of the applicable Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting period, and that it is estimated to be neutral to fully diluted earnings per share within the first 12 months of closing, and accretive thereafter.
长期以来，Quest一直在 SQL Server 相关的工具上少有建树．市场占有率十分微小．这次又故技重演，用杀手锏＂收购＂来获得市场的占有率．很多人都认为，Quest 是一家非常会收购的公司.
前一段时间还有人说 Quest 要被 Oracle 收购，没想到 Quest 还活得不错．

Under the terms of the agreement, which has been approved by both boards of directors, Macromedia stockholders will receive, at a fixed exchange ratio, 0.69 shares of Adobe common stock for every share of Macromedia common stock in a tax-free exchange. Adobe 和 Macromedia 都是令人喜欢的公司．这个年代用计算机的人恐怕没有人没用过Acrobat Reader,设计过网页的人怕是也都用"网页设计三剑客"．毫无疑问，一个软件巨人诞生了．从04年到现在，并购的消息不断传来．看来，这是个并购/合并的年代．
今天已经是来到杭州的第二周了．这一周过的真是很快．做什么都匆匆忙忙．早晨来到公司把相关的软件配置好，收邮件．接受本周的任务安排．找了一点Aix和存储的资料． 很快就到了中午．Biti_rainy的辣椒酱还是很好吃的，我上次去超市居然没看到．呵呵
