Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description:

• Keep management database configuration and tuning
• Manage and support a large site database environment with Oracle and Solaris
• Respond to critical site incidents 24x7 and escalating issues as appropriate
• Establish and follow best practices for enterprise monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Design and document architecture and procedures around back-end database
• In charge of database security and backup/restore

Requirements:

• University degreee or above majored in computer science or other disciplines

• Solid knowledge of operating system internals such as Unix, Linux

Site Unix System Administrator

Job Description: b

• The UNIX System Administrator is a member of a top UNIX System Administration Team responsible for operationally excellent management and operation of the AAA UNIX servers required to keep AAA 's web properties running in a 24x7x52 environment
• Builds, maintains and upgrades a multitude of Sun Solaris and Linux systems
• Take quick actions to solve problem and escalating issues as appropriate
• Responsible for remedy collecting and recording
• Execute implementations that comply with existing operational excellence

Requirements:

• University degree or above majored in computer science or other disciplines
• Minimum 4 years Unix System Administration experience
• Veritas experience or training with certification
• Solid knowledge of operating system internals, filesystem structures, tools, and machine architectures in a UNIX operating system, particularly Solaris and Linux
• Familiar with SAN storage architecture
• Familiar with large tape library backup system
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex relationships between components of the web site

Unix Administrator at Network Operations Center

The Systems Engineer is a key member of the operations staff with responsibility for proper functioning of all availability and performance of all components of the AAA production sites. As a member of a world-class Operations team, the Systems Engineer is responsible for operationally excellent management and operation of UNIX and Windows servers, supporting web properties running in a 24x7 environment. The Systems Engineer has primary responsibility for all monitoring and site tools as well as first and second tier resolution of production issues. Additionally, the successful candidate will work quickly under pressure to execute actions required to maintain site availability and performance.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor systems to drive troubleshooting and tuning
• First and second tier resolution of production issues and alerts
• Understand all components of the AAA site infrastructure in order to analyze impact of alarms and other system messages
• Work with external teams to diagnose complex problems and drive resolution
• Utilize toolset to diagnose and resolve production issues
• Resolve errors and alarms quickly and provide timely escalation
• Complete tasks required to maintain service levels and availability of all site features and functions

Requirements

• BS in technical field or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal communications in both Chinese and English
• Minimum two years system administration experience
• Solid knowledge of operating system internals, file system structures, and machine architectures in a UNIX and Windows operating systems

Systems and Network engineer

Job Responsibilities:
The System and Network Engineer reports directly to the manager of AAA China Network Operations Center. He/she will have the opportunity to work closely with the operation team in the U.S and interact with the China business units in Shanghai on daily basis. This position has responsibilities for ensuring successful and healthy delivery of AAA emails to China customers, troubleshooting of AAA site accessibility issues, as well as developing monitoring tools.
Detail responsibilities are:

• Provide support on mail server configuration and management to ensure the delivery of AAA site email and marketing email.
• Develop SMTP monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Respond to alerts and take action for troubleshooting email and network related issues.
• Share support on network performance and site accessibility with the team.
• Monitor and manage AAA email system and email delivery to China MSPs (Mail Service Providers).
• Communicate to China MSP with appropriate problem information and details to solve email delivery issues.
• Infrequent trips to MSPs to troubleshoot issues together
• Shares on-call rotation for email and network support

Job Requirements:
